 Bob Penquite President | Bob Penquite currently
works for Community First Bank in Harrison AR. He is the Commercial
Loan Officer and Assistant Vice-President/Small Business Development
Specialist. In his job he develops and manages the US Small Business
Administration Loan Department. Bob formerly worked as a small business
consultant for the University of Arkansas Small Business Development
Center Office in Harrison AR. He is a board member of NW Arkansas Local
Workforce Investment Board...a nonprofit organization established to
provide one-stop based employment services and skill enhancement
programs to promote business and individual growth in the region. Bob
currently serves as president of the FORGE board of trustees.

 Jim Morgan Ph.D Board Member | Jim Morgan raises sheep
in Washington County Arkansas. Jim grew up on a diversified family farm
in central Kansas. This time, he and his wife Teresa’s focus
is to make the farm sustainable financially, socially, and
environmentally. Besides raising breeding stock, they direct market
their lamb at the Farmer’s Market and Ozark Natural Foods in
Fayetteville as well as to many satisfied customers and a few
restaurants. Jim has been involved with the FORGE board of trustees
since 1995. Jim’s background in sustainable agriculture and
political issues has led to his involvement in promoting sustainable
communities that use their natural resources wisely.

Fancher Secretary
| Karen
Fancher currently
serves as secretary of the FORGE board of trustees. She is a native
Ozarkian and grew up on a farm in Newton County. They raised cattle,
hogs, chickens and a large garden. Life most farm families at the time,
they raised most of what they ate. They knew what was in their food
and, more importantly, what was not. She has been a nurse and a farmer
for 30 years. This duality has forged a great appreciation for organic
farming practices from health and environmental perspectives.

Jeffers Board
Member | Tracey Jeffers is a professionally certified
business appraiser. She provides privately-held business valuation services and engages
in valuation-related consulting. She is a principal member in the American Business
Appraisers national network and owns the valuation firm, ValuPath Advisors located
in Fayetteville, AR. Tracey has been on the FORGE Board of Trustees since 2005.

Lord Board
Member | Bill Lord is Program Director for the Northwest
Arkansas Regional Solid Waste Management District in Harrison. Bill
currently serves as President of the FORGE Board of Trustees. Bill's
interest in FORGE comes from involvement in sustainable and integrated
community concepts in Newton County, AR.

Member | James Park is a 2001 graduate of Harrision High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Arkansas, Sam M. Walton College of Business: He has a degree in Administrative Management and is the founder and owner of Park's Environmental Recycling (PER). He is also the Account Manager for the Rock-Tenn Company in Harrison. James' reasons for joining the FORGE Board are not complex-he is a believer in the mission of FORGE: "I'm looking forward to working with an organization that gives back to the community and shares my interest in environment and sustainable community development. I believe that this organization has done some very meaningful and permanent good."
